Since the Tribecca finish is a frameless cabinet, to make sure the cabinet doors mounted against a wall open properly, a 1" clearance is necessary. This is only if there is a wall to the left or right of a cabinet (not in between every wall cabinet). A filler (trimmed to fit) can be used in the space if desired. Depending on the hardware being used, a smaller clearance may be OK, it will vary from kitchen to kitchen.
